Asterix and Obelix travel to Spain merely to return the book to the Chief of the embattled village. In doing so, they accidentally beat up on all the surrounding Romans and help the Spanish village keep their freedom. This isn’t a book about defeating the Romans directly. It’s just about returning a kidnapped kid.
